http://www.cgcs.org/cms/lib/DC00001581/Centricity/Domain/36/Math%20K.pdf - The Purpose Of "Misbehavior". This is a slide presentation from Kansas City Schools that may be helpful to both parents and teachers. In kindergarten, it seems to me that most misbehavior stems from avoidance behavior. There are many reasons for avoidance behavior and why it may sometimes been seen at school and not home.

This is very useful information for parents. I highly recommend the Dreambox Math Program because it works. It responds to each child's successes and mistakes and sends them in the right direction to build their understanding of the target skill. Very good for the gifted child and the child who may not be as strong in math as you would like.
